At South and Vale District Councils we are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our friendly People and Culture Team. This role has become available due to an internal move within our team. This is a varied role covering the full employee lifecycle, from advising managers on a vacancy, supporting new starters through onboarding, engaging with staff and managers on their day-to-day queries, to payroll system input. Within this role you will be supported in developing your experience and knowledge to further your career. The post holder will be the first point of contact for the People & Culture Team and covers the following key elements: • Manage and respond to HR and payroll queries that come into the HR inbox • Scrutinise, check and challenge payroll instruction prior to inputting HR information data for monthly payroll, working to tight predetermined deadlines.• Work alongside a HR Business Partner to provide managers and employees with reactive and pro-active HR advice/support.• Manage the councils’ recruitment lifecycle, from advertising roles to supporting the onboarding and induction of new starters.
