Company Description:
* Our client is a London-based project mangement consultancy which specializes in managing the construction of some of high end residential projects.
* They oversee project management, construction, and maintenance activities for prestigious city homes, rural estates, and property investments.
Role Description:
* Lead the Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration process for high-end residential and countryside projects, ensuring projects are managed effectively and meet budget and timeline requirements.
* Work closely with the Head of Project Management and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of each project, offering support and expertise to achieve project goals and maintain high standards.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, and specialists, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
* Prepare early-stage cost plans, enabling clients to make informed decisions about project scope and acquisition. Provide detailed cost plans at each RIBA stage and analyze cost options to guide client decisions.
* Prepare tender documents in line with the procurement strategy, analyze tender submissions, and prepare comprehensive tender reports. Identify cost efficiencies following the return of tender documents and implement/manage procurement schedules.
Requirements:
* Must have UK consultancy and high-end residential project experience
* RICS-qualified Quantity Surveyor with 7-10 years of experience in QS/CA roles, ideally within the super prime property market (main contractor or consultancy).
* Proven experience on large-scale, high-end projects, with expertise in both pre- and post-contract phases.
* Experience advising clients on the financial aspects of their projects, including cost planning and procurement.
* Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels and demonstrate diplomacy when needed.
* In-depth knowledge of Quantity Surveying, construction processes, and project financials, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to consult, collaborate, and provide constructive challenge to improve project outcomes.
* High integrity, honesty, and resilience in managing competing priorities and complex situations.
* Self-motivated, team-focused, and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering high standards.
* Strong IT skills, with the ability to use relevant software and tools effectively.
