MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a Top 100 Company based in Craigavon to recruit for a Payroll Team Lead on a full time, permanent basis.
As a Payroll Team Lead, you will manage a team of administrators and support the wider payroll team to ensure all employees within the business are paid correctly.
This is a great role if you have previous management experience & are looking for a new challenge or if you have a strong payroll background and are looking to step up to management!
Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Team Lead Include:
* Responsibility for ensuring completion of Weekly/Monthly payrolls in their entirety.
* To assist with payroll year-end processes - P60/P11D.
* Ensuring HMRC payments are processed on time.
* Working closely with finance ensuring costing and same day payments balance.
* Processing and reconciling of pensions from start to finish.
* Ensuring all documents for payrolls are completed in full each week - Payroll checklists.
* Monitoring performance of the team to ensure standards are maintained throughout the department.
* Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication within the payroll team.
* To assist in development plans for the team and to achieve agreed set targets.
What do you need to succeed?
* Knowledge & previous experience of a payroll environment.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Experience using Microsoft Office packages.
