Mobile Combustion Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: London & M25 West London Based (Uxbridge/Slough)
Schedule: Monday to Friday Days, OT Available
The Vacancy
My client is one of the leading maintenance providers in the UK and has a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Combustion Engineer to join their Facilities Management mobile team supporting clients based in the London & Southeast region.
Due to the nature of the role and managing multiple contracts, travel will be required, so flexibility is essential.
The main objective is to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to HVAC plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Mechanical Services. We are exceptionally keen to speak to candidates with a strong background in building services within the commercial & domestic market.
The ideal candidate will be based around West London near Uxbridge to have access to Central London, the M4 & M25.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following:
1. Knowledge of Commercial & Domestic heating systems with relevant qualifications
2. Previous FM experience working across multiple sites
3. Strong Building services experience, knowledge & understanding of building compliance
4. Experience as a mobile engineer
5. UK Driving licence
6. 18th Edition
7. C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent qualifications
8. C&G Heating & Ventilation
9. Commercial Gas certificates

About the Role
Key Accountabilities will include:
1. Ensure all works are delivered in guidance of the legislation and contractual obligations
2. Utilise CAFM/PDA technology for real-time job updates and provide detailed/comprehensive reports on works delivered
3. Respond promptly and effectively to all reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests associated with the heating and ventilation systems, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipe work, and associated mechanical systems
4. Respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the mechanical services aspects of the contract as required.
