We wish to recruit two full time band 5 Staff Nurses for secondment to the Bladder and Bowel Service for 12 months.

The locality teams are multi professional working in collaboration to ensure safe, highly effective patient care.
This post will provide an exciting opportunity to work differently within a new initiative to deliver a high quality service to patients in Gateshead.
You will need to be motivated, organised and flexible. The service hours are 8am - 8pm, 7 days per week. You will be expected to work flexibly to deliver service needs.
You must be a registered nurse and evidence of a teaching certificate, post registration experience and ongoing professional development are desirable.
It would also be desirable to have evidence of experience in a community setting.
You must be a car owner/driver.
Main duties of the job
The delivery of high standards of clinical practice that hold patients and their families at the center to ensure that they receive safe, quality care that gives them a good experience.
To be responsible for delivery of an identified package of care under the supervision and direction of Specialist Nurse Practitioner/Senior Nurse/Locality Team Lead.
Job responsibilities
To provide high quality patient care in the community setting under the direction and supervision of a senior nurse/practitioner.
To support the assessment of the health and health related needs of patients, clients, their families and other carers.
To assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care to meet care needs of individual patients and carers in their own homes, care homes and community clinics.

Qualifications
* NMC Registration
* Degree or willing to work towards
* Teaching qualification 998, 730, or Cert Ed.
* ECL or IT qualification
