The Opportunity
As our Social Media Executive, you’ll be responsible for managing multiple social media platforms in a fast-paced B2C environment. You’ll be central to raising our brand/profile through the creation of all social content to engage and interact with our target audiences. You love the media and technology space, and you will relentlessly strive to make Central Urban Living an influential and valuable contributor to the social conversations taking place within these industries.
The Role
1. Complete ownership of all corporate social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter & Facebook)
2. Responsible for social media strategy, planning, content generation, execution, and analysis
3. Curate, create and edit a variety of social media content posts, including blogs, articles, videos, GIFs, animated graphics, etc.
4. Ensure consistent tone of voice for our brand across all social media activity
5. Create and manage a calendar to plan and track daily social media postings
6. Daily monitoring of industry-related news stories to source relevant content for posting/commenting
7. Research industry-related topics and data, as assigned, for potential content creation
8. Define the most important social media KPIs
9. Maximize followers and engagement on all social channels
10. Manage DMs, comments, and interactions with followers in a timely manner
11. Generate reports with weekly/monthly activity, with ability to measure effectiveness and turn into actionable insight
12. Monitor competitors’ social activity and determine areas of opportunity
13. Explore, test, and stay current on new features of our existing social platforms
14. Determine value of potential expansion to new social platforms, if appropriate (e.g. Pinterest, TikTok etc.)
All you need is...
* Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter & Facebook) within a B2C environment
* Knowledgeable about current social media trends, best practices, and technologies, and self-driven to explore new techniques
* Highly skilled at creating and executing paid and non-paid social media campaigns
* Proven background of creating a variety of compelling social media content/assets
* Outstanding copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail
* Experience executing social media advertising and paid social media campaigns, including performance monitoring and budgeting
* Experience using social media monitoring/listening tools to analyse data
* Experience with graphic design software, such as Photoshop or InDesign, with a strong eye for design
* Experience with common Microsoft office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
