Due to an exciting period of growth, we are now looking for a Communications and Marketing Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

The Role
As a Communications and Marketing Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence and engaging diverse audiences nationwide.
Specifically, you will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the marketing plan for the business. You will play a key role in supporting the marketing Lantra’s training products and qualifications to the land-based and environment sector.
You will position our organisation as the vendor of choice for skills development in the land-based and environment sector, whilst supporting the growth of sales for our training, qualifications and skills development products.
Additionally, you will:
- Help create and implement a unified marketing strategy to raise our profile
- Collaborate with Industry Heads on marketing plans
- Assist in establishing us as the top choice for industry training
- Research trends to keep us positioned as a "go-to" training provider
- Track and report on campaign effectiveness
- Help develop campaign-specific and general marketing content
- Work with the Communications team to achieve strategic marketing objectives
About You
To be considered as a Communications and Marketing Officer, you will need:
- Experience in implementing a marketing and communications strategy
- Experience of working on collateral designs for projects
- Experience of supporting the development and delivery of effective marketing programmes
- Experience of developing brand awareness and positioning
- Experience of working to budgets and targets
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software
- Creativity with an eye for detail
- The ability to work well within a team environment as well as on own initiative
- A passion for marketing and communications
- A Further Education qualification or at least two years’ experience in marketing or communications
