Responsibilities Enforcement of safe work systems and accountability for health and safety performance among subordinates and contractors Provision of safe equipment, a safe working environment, and the necessary personal protective equipment for all employees and contractors Assurance that employees are adequately informed, instructed, trained, and supervised to safely perform their duties Commitment to zero injuries by maintaining a safe environment, investigating incidents, and implementing appropriate countermeasures Interpretation and application of departmental policies, procedures, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance Management of maintenance schedules, quality initiatives, safety targets, and operational metrics to meet organizational goals Supervision of staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions as necessary Promotion of continuous improvement, efficient resource use, safety, quality, and high performance through policy development and budget control Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent education and experience Knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR, SEVESO/COMAH regulations, and relevant health and safety legislation Experience in managing change within diverse environments and building strong relationships Skills in interpersonal communication, influencing, coaching, negotiating, and team coordination Ability to analyse data, develop proposals, and demonstrate strong business acumen Proficiency in advanced PC skills, financial and commercial awareness, and project management Commitment to continuous improvement, strong teamwork, and professional work ethics Focus on customer satisfaction and a hands-on approach to tasks Enthusiasm for developing others and fostering a positive and productive work environment Our offer… Work life balance Competitive compensation programme Bonus plan Career growth opportunities in a truly international environment Innovation leaders in the protective coatings industry Sherwin Academy offers continuous training programmes for all seniority levels Attractive wellbeing, mental health, women & inclusion and ID&E programmes Please note that Sherwin Williams is unable to respond to any enquiries, accept CVs or applications from Recruitment Agencies LI-JR1
