4c is proud to partner Ulster Rugby to support the club as it seeks to appoint a Head of Marketing and Communications. Ulster Rugby is one of the few sporting organisations which operates a full-time professional team in Northern Ireland. It is a not-for-profit organisation with all revenues generated being reinvested to support the growth and development of rugby, both amateur and professional, across the province. The Head of Marketing and Communications will be responsible for the development and execution of multi-channel marketing and communications strategies, positioning Ulster Rugby as the provinces leading sports brand through strategic brand communication, data-driven campaigns, and compelling storytelling. The role holder will also oversee all media relations, ensuring effective engagement and communication with press, broadcasters, and stakeholders. The successful individual will have significant experience in a senior marketing and communications role with demonstrable experience of creating and implementing marketing and communications strategies. The Head of Marketing and Communications will also have: Proven successful experience in leading, developing and managing a multi-disciplinary team fostering a culture of collaborative work. Experience of campaign management, brand management and development, and digital, social marketing and CRM. Experience of building and developing strong and professional working relationships with external media and marketing agencies coupled with successful experience of maximising media activation. Educated to degree level in a communications, marketing or equivalent field. An interest in sports, preferably rugby.
