£7500 joining bonus Role: Psychologist Location: Wiltshire (Melksham and Salisbury) Salary: £53,600, pro rata per annum Hours: Part time, minimum 22.5 hours per week - 2 days on site, 1 day working from home. All homes in the area must be visited at least once per week. Driving licence and access to a car required Our client is looking for a part time Clinical Psychologist to join them to deliver a comprehensive therapeutic service for children in their care in Salisbury and Melksham in Wiltshire. This is a really exciting position, working with 4 new childrens homes, with one of the homes being an assessment home, where they work closely with the children to identify their individual needs. What you'll get to do Deliver evidence based therapeutic and psychologically led care which conforms to the standards outlined by the HCPC and BPS under supervision Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments and write psychological reports for children and young people in the care of our client Develop, write and regularly review/update therapeutic care plans for children and young people in residential care and education Manage a limited caseload for individual intervention, providing specialist psychological input to young people and teams in residential care and educational settings Contribute to the development of a therapeutically informed service across education and residential teams. What they’re looking for from you Experience of working with Children and Young People or relevant demonstrable transferable skills is essential Post-doctoral knowledge of applied psychology including developmental lifespan psychology, models of psychopathology Previous experience working with children and young people that have experienced trauma and have complex needs Experiencing in the assessment and management of self-harm / risk / crisis management / safeguarding Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision.
