Why you’re here: As a Facilities Assistant you will be part of a small team responsible for delivering an outstanding facility, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Working closely with the wider operations team you will be entirely focused on delivering the best possible environment for our guests. Your role includes acting as a point of contact for staff, external contractors, and the public.
You will be responsible for promoting a safe, secure, and pleasant working environment for our team and guests by undertaking facilities administrative duties, logging and completing jobs, monitoring CCTV, conducting foot patrols & audits around the site, liaising with emergency services, conducting Health & Safety checks including fire alarm testing.
You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Facilities in ensuring the site both internally and externally is maintained and serviced to a high standard.
This is an incredibly rewarding role and a crucial service provider to the entire business; however, it demands a level of technical ability and a steadfast commitment to quality.
Your role will be working shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, either 7am to 3.30pm or 12noon to 8.30pm to ensure the protection of life and property.
To be successful you will need to have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
1. Previous experience working with-in facilities management, cleaning, maintenance, or security.
2. Experience of working to specification, time, quality, and budget.
3. Experience of working with management systems including quality, environment, and health & safety systems.
4. An interest in the Snowsports and the Leisure industry, and a genuine passion for our products will be invaluable.
5. Excellent and confident communication and written skills.
6. Being able to work independently.
7. Ability to deal with Guests and employees in sometimes stressful situations.
8. Tenacity for high standard of guest service – wanting to meet and serve guests – a complete understanding of guests needs in line with the brand offering and product delivery.
9. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
10. Flexibility to your shifts including regular weekend work.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £8.75-£11.50 per hour
