Corporate Finance Manager
Manchester
9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
An opportunity to join our growing Manchester-based Corporate Finance team, working directly with a broad range of clients to assist them in achieving their strategic goals. The successful candidate will develop their experience and skills in Corporate Finance and gain exposure to a varied mix of projects (including Acquisitions, Disposals and Finance Raising).
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Director you will have responsibility for a Corporate Finance Assistant Manager and an Executive, so it is imperative that you have had managerial responsibility previously.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project management of disposal and acquisition projects.
* Preparation of information memorandum and business plan narrative and content.
* Utilising research databases to search for acquirers.
* Preparation of financial models and financial forecasts.
* Investigating opportunities for acquisitive clients and liaising with them.
* Developing your own network of potential clients and referrers of work.
* Utilising research databases for business development and project work.
Essential Skills:
* Ability to prioritise your own workload.
* Flexibility in approach to tasks.
* Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
* Ability to use professional judgement where required.
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills, both written and oral.
* Commercial acumen.
* Good IT skills (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
* Tenacity.
Qualifications:
* ACA or ACCA
