Maintenance Contracts Manager (Water, Gas and Ventilation Humidification)
We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you a highly motivated maintenance professional? Do you have the drive to manage a diverse professional team and specialist contractors? Do you have excellent problem-solving skills and a logical approach? Do you have excellent communication and organisational skills to deliver a first-class service to clients?
Initially managing specialist contractors, in time you will build and lead a professional team in delivering planned, preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to a range of Water & Gas systems, predominately supporting specialist research and teaching facilities.
You will collaborate with the Asset Management Team to update records including the change management of asset information (drawings, written schemes, etc.) for a range of University systems.
You will support various stakeholders across Estates and Facilities Services and the wider Facilities Directorate to ensure compliance and safety in the workplace. You will report to the Senior M&E Compliance Manager where you will be a central point of contact to ensure compliance is in line with statutory requirements, industry standards and University guidelines.
Your daily interaction with our internal customers and contractors means you’ll be the ‘face’ of the Water & Gas Compliance Team. Excellent customer service, decisive management, strong technical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement are all essential requirements of the role.
