About the role
Chelsea Centre for the Creative Industries is looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to work across a range of programmes and provide leadership our entry programme (UAL L2 Diploma) within our Art and Design Programme Area.
We are looking for a creative and innovative teacher who is passionate about supporting and challenging students to realise their creative potential. We need an individual who is confident to lead courses and teach across a range of abilities and art and design disciplines. We are proud to be able to offer a full suite of courses which allow students pathways into Creative Industries. As a Senior Lecturer, you will work with the Programme Area Manager to grow the provision at the centre and strengthen progression routes.
You will be committed to working collaboratively to deliver a high-quality contemporary experience for our students, which will include their pastoral care. You will have a teaching qualification (or be working towards one) and have confidence teaching 16-19 study programmes, you will need a sound understanding of designing successful learning experiences that can be tailored to our Level 2 provision.
The Chelsea Centre for Creative Industries is a specialist centre offering study programmes and higher education routes into the creative sector across Art, Design and Media curriculum areas. It is a collaborative and creative community which encourages ideas, innovation and change.
