Job Description:
The Role
As the Audit Resourcing Senior Manager CLR your key accountabilities are as follows:
The Resource Delivery Model as a minimum needs to achieve the following:
1. Ensuring engagements are staffed and utilisation is optimised driving both fair work allocation agenda for our staff whilst maintaining our commitment to quality.
2. Operating a clear escalation and resolution process that is well understood by Audit and wider leadership.
3. Delivering a forward planning process from a Resourcing perspective in a form as agreed with Audit leadership.
4. Working to operate the SOQM process as it applies to assignment to engagement in Audit are undertaken as documented with the required level of checks and documentation.
5. Ensuring a cost effective service through the effective use of blended onshore/offshore workforce and technology.
6. Enabling collaboration with other KBS teams where required (e.g. Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition) to ensure efficient and consistent practices toward demand fulfilment.
7. Providing accurate data based on a clear set of metrics for the performance group that is used by Audit leadership and key stakeholders to understand the resourcing position of the performance group and allowing comparison by performance group (e.g. League tables).
8. Driven by the Customer Satisfaction agenda across Audit by ensuring the Talent Deployment Team delivery meets the operational requirements of Audit leadership and delivers a positive colleague experience.
Performance Management
1. Day to day management of the Resource Managers (managers and/or assistant managers and/or associates) aligned to the Performance Group or relevant Services Lines and accountability for the overall performance management and recruitment of the team.
2. Focussing service delivery on achieving desired outcomes, IDE and other defined metrics, flagging up areas where workload in the team is high or low and taking appropriate actions to address. Promoting an inclusive culture aligned with our global KPMG values. Leveraging the Talent Deployment COE MI team as required for reporting purposes.
What you will bring to the role:
Skills and experience required:
1. Strong understanding of Talent Deployment and operations in Audit or equivalent industry.
2. Resilient and capable of working in a challenging, continuously changing environment.
3. Experience of partnering with the business at a senior level as well as knowledge and experience of operational delivery.
4. Strong interpersonal skills – able to interact with confidence and respect at the most senior levels, while at the same time being able to interact well with peers and other more junior members of the team including ability to coach and performance manage. Credibility with all levels of stakeholders is critical.
5. Ability to manage large volumes, work and lead in a high performing environment, and respond positively to changing priorities.
6. Problem solving - able to identify, influence and facilitate outcomes by helping shape a strategic viewpoint.
7. Discretion – demonstrate ethical behaviour, including tact, discretion and know-how to safeguard or use confidential information.
8. Resourceful and connected – able to connect the relevant people at the right time and build strong networks quickly – both within audit, KBS and the wider firm.
9. Strong MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) including experience of delivering data and analysis to senior stakeholders.
Desirable:
1. Able to drive operational efficiencies – including familiarity of process improvement methodologies and or experience within.
