About Autism Plus Autism Plus are a leading Yorkshire Charity supporting adults and young people with autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and complex needs. In 1986 the Charity was created by a group of parents looking for the very best support for their children who were about to leave a specialist school. Once they reached the age of 17, they found there was little or no support. The belief set by our founding parents, to empower more people to live independent, fulfilling lives remains our focus today. We employ over 350 people across the north of England in care support services, employment support and social enterprise businesses. Autism Plus is looking for a new Regional Manager to support and supervise the regions Registered Managers, to promote person centred approaches and Positive Behaviour Support to all our individuals. They will also be expected to build good relationships with our stakeholders and support the Director of Care Service with growth and development of the region. Key Responsibilities (Include, but are not limited too); Build and maintain strong relationships with regional ICB s and Local Authorities. Develop and maintain positive relationships with the people we support and their families/carers. Oversee all aspects of opening new services. Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and professionalism among staff. Proactivity commit to continuous improvements Prepare for and maintain a GOOD to OUTSTANDING rating with CQC. Inform the Director of Care Services of any concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with Autism Plus development, training and supervision, probation and appraisal policies. Ensure robust Safeguarding procedures are in place and followed across all services. Be part of the senior on-call. Promote Equality and Diversity.
