About Our Client

Job Description
1. To deliver accurate and timely information to the FBP to fulfil their role on management boards.
2. To attend management boards and stakeholder meetings in replacement of the FBP or alongside.
3. To gain an in-depth working knowledge of the business area and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
4. To analyse and model financial and non-financial data to determine trends, correlations and other statistical information which impact business decisions.
5. To work collaboratively with the FBP in compiling annual budgets and spending review submissions.
6. To deliver accurate and timely information on monthly accruals and forecasts, providing challenge to ensure data is realistic and achievable according to prescribed timetables.
7. To improve system and financial processes to drive efficiency and compliance.
8. To support other team members with undertaking weekly routines, including exception reports.
9. To recognise trends and patterns in the data and engage with the relevant business area to resolve issues.
10. To co-ordinate and answer PQ and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for Finance as requested by the FBP.
11. To work collaboratively with FBPs in ensuring the organisation meets its annual reporting obligations.
12. To ensure accounting standards are adhered to when business decisions have financial implications.
13. To gain knowledge of the wider Finance function to support development.
14. To keep abreast of accounting developments for continuous professional development.
15. Ad hoc tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis. Confident in working on own initiative, as well as alongside Directors and Senior Managers.
CIMA / ACA / ACCA qualification preferred.
