JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor Job Duties: 1. Provide individualised academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). 2. Develop and implement tailored learning plans based on students' needs and abilities. 3. Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. 4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational goals. 5. Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements. 6. Stay updated on best practises in SEN education and incorporate them into teaching strategies. Required Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Experience working with students with SEN - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN teaching Knowledge and Skills: - Understanding of SEN regulations and policies - Proficiency in using educational technology - Strong organisational skills - Empathy and patience in working with students with diverse needs Preferred Qualifications: - Postgraduate qualification in SEN education - Training in specific SEN interventions Working Conditions: - Part-Time hours, flexible schedule - Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres - Potential interaction with students, parents, and educational professionals - Adherence to safeguarding and child protection policies All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
