Peopleforce Recruitment are delighted to be supporting the expansion of a fire and security / telecommunications business based in West Berkshire. This company are hiring for a Fire and Security Senior Engineer / Manager.
This is the perfect opportunity for an engineer who is looking for a step up as you will spend three days on site with other engineers and two days in the office supporting with the overall operations of the business.
We are looking for experienced Fire and Security engineers with a strong background in commissioning, installing, servicing and maintaining Fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems. We are also looking for someone with a desire to expand their skillset and responsibilities who is responsible, organised, committed and fair.
Salary - £40,000 - £45,000
Fully expensed vehicle
Job Responsibilities:
* 3 days on site a week on site with the team doing commissioning, servicing, maintenance and installation of fire alarms, cctv, access control and intruder alarms
* 2 days per week support within office tasks and physically be in the office
* Support with training and motivation of engineers and organisation of BAFE & SSAIB
* Support the MD with updates and have meetings weekly to share updates
* Oversees F&S systems and processes, identifying improvement opportunities.
* Manages risks, daily operations, and vendor/risk management.
* Works with operations manager to ensure timely project completion.
* Collaborates with sales to set and meet goals.
* Plays a key role in planning, project reporting, and change control.
* Partners with MD on special projects and reports F&S metrics.
* Identifies trends and improvement opportunities.
* Validates findings before sharing with stakeholders.
* Ensures smooth operations and maintains company values.
* Supports training programs for back-office and engineers.
* Stays updated on industry regulations, trends, and technology.
* Works with MD to ensure compliance with best practices.
