Outline of Role
As a Process Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the pre-production process from bid stage to production release.
Remuneration and Benefits
A market competitive wage will be offered depending on experience. The benefits of employment include 33 days holiday per year on a pro-rata basis (including public holidays), an employer pension contribution of 5% of salary, discounted membership of public gyms within the Fife area, and Life Assurance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The process engineer’s role is to support pre-production activities to ensure the project technical requirements are understood from bid stage through to release into production. This key role will support the sales, procurement, projects, QA, and technical functions within the business.
* Creation of engineering masters and Master Routing Templates
* Responsibility for Manufacturing Routings to Estimating Quotes corrections
* Drawing change management
* Sales/Estimating support including supporting low-level technical reviews and manufacturing capabilities discussions with clients
* Review equipment and plant capability to meet customer order/BOM
* Provide manufacturing routing that meets the customer contractual requirements
* Provide manufacturing routing that captures all required specifications
* Ensure efficient manufacturing process routing steps
* Ensure manufacturing routing packs carry all relevant drawings
* Ensure manufacturing routing information collaborates with correct revision drawings
* Liaise and communicate with other departments on customer requirements/specs/drawing and BOMS
* Prioritise workload in line with requirements
* Actively participate in meetings
