We have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 6 role in Adult and Young Persons( 18-25) Diabetes with at least 6 months post graduate experience
This is a role that gives you a chance to work in Diabetes and to be involved in Adult and Young Persons( 18-25 years old )Diabetes .
You will work within established multidisciplinary teams providing expert nutritional advice to patients and carers, while supporting and educating the wider team to provide patient centred care .
You will join an enthusiastic and motivated dietetic team who cover many clinical specialities of the hospital .We are committed to supporting the ongoing personal and professional development of our staff and would be provided with supervision and CPD opportunities .The department is also dedicated to student training .

Main duties of the job
1. To work as an autonomous Specialist Dietitian and provide a comprehensive and effective dietetic service to this client group.
2. To work closely with Diabetes Multi disciplinary teams and other Dietitians .
3. To provide assessment, management for inpatients and outpatients requiring specialist dietetic and nutrition intervention.
4. To deliver education in group settings as well as one to one .
5. To provide training to other health professionals.
6. To audit and evaluate the outcome of the service provided.

The Dietetic Service is an integral part of the Trust wideTherapy Directorate and will work closely with other therapy colleagues. We also have 2 Dietetic Assistant and full time admin support .
We are looking for an enthusiastic dietitian with good communication skills who is excellent, compassionate and respectful.
