Nursery Nurse for Haslemere, GU27 2AT
This is an exciting and fulfilling role that incorporates lots of variety. As a Nursery Nurse, you will spend your days looking after children from 3 months old, right up to pre-school age. You’ll ensure that the children have fun whilst being sensitive and attentive to their individual needs.
This role is open to those with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. Full time (40 hours) and part time (20 hours, 11-3) required.
We also recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse job share roles, 27 hours a week

Our Nursery
Toad Hall Nursery was established in 1998. Our 71 place nursery in Haslemere is in the centre of this beautiful town and is a 10 minute walk from the Haslemere train station. There are coffee shops and local independent shops within a 2 mile radius from the nursery.
This ‘home from home’ nursery has a separate car park for their employees to use. The nursery is a 19th century converted school which has retained many of its original features including a spacious indoor hall. The large rooms allow the children space to expand their imagination whilst outside the building there are two large play areas. In 2017, our team were awarded a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
* Working together with the rest of the team to provide high quality care for children aged 0-5.
* Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery by adhering to the relevant policies and procedures.
* Using your knowledge, experience and imagination to come up with new ideas and activities.
* Building relationships with children and communicating well with their parents.
* Making sure every working day is fun!
Your qualifications and experience:
* Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
* Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
* To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children.
* Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
* A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
