The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join an established and fast-paced Advisory team. Reporting direct to an experienced Employee Relations Manager and a supportive team including Senior Employee Relations Advisors and Advisors, you will have the opportunity to lead and influence employee relations and change initiatives.
In this role, you’ll manage a high volume of employee relations (ER) cases providing expert advice that balances risk with business needs. You will manage a small team of Senior Advisors and Advisors and be the point of contact for the Strategic HR Business Partner.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Act as escalation point for high-risk employee relations cases in your business area, including discrimination, collective grievances, collective redundancy, ill health and medical capability, ensuring the team are clear on the next steps and why.
2. To coach and enable business leaders to make well informed people decisions in line with current legislation
3. To coach your team on ER matters to ensure team knowledge growth and development.
4. To act on feedback of the service and generate action plans for improvement in partnership with the ER Manager.
5. To attend weekly/bi-weekly/quarterly meetings with your stakeholders to discuss ongoing ER Cases and highlight any possible risk.
6. To have ownership of the Safecall reports in the business areas supporting- ensuring the team drive these to conclusion efficiently.
7. To keep the letter documentation up to date on Teams, SharePoint etc, to ensure the correct documents are available and used at all times.

About You:
23. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
Necessary
24. Minimum L5 CIPD
25. Demonstrable experience working within Employee Relations in a fast paced, low margin business
26. Proven experience managing or team leading a small team, with a blend of remote and office based workers
27. Experience of working within a shared service HR delivery
28. Experience of service improvement
Desirable
29. L7 CIPD or Associate CIPD or working towards
30. Power BI knowledge and experience- how to operate, analyse, and drill down on PowerBI MI
31. Experience of writing and delivering training within HR
