Scope of work includes conventional and addressable fire alarm systems. Plus various forms of security including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and door entry. Your specific responsibilities include: Creation of method statements and risk assessments inline with the CDM regulations. Project a high level of quality customer service at all times. Ensure that the relevant documentation is fully completed in an accurate and timely manner – including instructions, timesheets, work reports, service reports and expense claims Actively support at all times, company policy and best practice. Maintaining/developing good relations with clients and colleagues. You will have To be successful as Small Works Manager Fire & Security you will have a healthy mix of the following: ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: · Experience in installation and service of fire and security systems for an NSI & BAFE registered company. · Competent in the creation of method statements and risk assessments inline with the CDM regulations. · Strong background with conventional and addressable fire alarm systems. · Experience with various forms of security including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and door entry. · Must have working knowledge and experience of the British Standards & BAFE standards. · Project a high level of quality customer service at all times. · To ensure that the relevant documentation is fully completed in an accurate and timely manner – including instructions, timesheets, work reports, service reports and expense claims · Actively support at all times, company policy and best practice. · Maintaining/developing good relations with clients and colleagues. · Must be competent in IT related products for security and communication devices and computer literate in MS Office suite (preferably Word & Excel) DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: · Qualifications in BS5839, BS5266/FIA Units preferable · Full understanding of PD6662 and the NSI standards for security systems · An ECS or CSCS card is desirable · Experience in project management · Managerial experience at manager or senior supervisor level PERSON SPECIFICATION: · Must have a full, clean driving licence · Must be self-motivated, well presented and have diligent work ethic as working remotely from the office · Must be able to satisfy vetting to BS7858 and Enhanced DBS checks will be required for this role · Customer focussed · Inquisitive, diligent, and logical · Articulate, with good administration skills · ‘Can do’ attitude and a team player. · Right to work in the UK.
