Key Responsibilities SEN Teachers: Design and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans tailored to meet diverse learning needs. Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student confidence and growth. Track and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback. Collaborate with therapists, external agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support. SEN Teaching Assistants: Provide focused support to students with special needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech or language difficulties. Assist in delivering tailored educational interventions under the teachers guidance. Support students in managing their emotions, behavior, and social interactions. Prepare resources and adapt learning materials to suit individual needs. Ensure the classroom is a safe, welcoming space for all learners. Candidate Requirements Essential Attributes: A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team environment. SEN Teachers: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience working with children with SEN in a school setting. SEN Teaching Assistants: Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, or significant SEN experience.
