If so, Moxie People are proud to be supporting one of South Wales leading support Charity as they search for a Health and Safety Manager to come on board!
The role would see you taking the lead for the H&S and Facilities team, building the strategy for the function while undertaking day to day line management of the team. This would include putting together development plans, providing oversight of daily operational tasks, establishing a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the organization and guiding and supporting managers and staff in delivering their health and safety responsibilities.

What will you do?.
Ensure activity meets organisational requirements for health and safety, legal and regulatory requirements, and general duty of care
Provide specialist advice and guidance to the Executive team on relevant legislation and implementation of all Health and Safety Policies ensuring that we remain compliant with all statutory regulations
Liaise with all departments and provide health and safety reports and assurance for submission to the Executive team
Provide regular reports to be submitted to the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) to enable discussion around targets and KPI's
Establish a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the organisation, including delivery
What will you need?
NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification
Excellent knowledge of up-to-date legislation
Good understanding of regulations and statutory obligations: Asbestos, Legionella, CDM, HASAW and RIDDOR
A sound knowledge of the Social Housing sector
Able to work collaboratively across departments
Experience of managing and delivering H&S and compliance-based projects
