Estate Administrator Chirk, Wrexham Full-time About Us We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Estate Administrator to support the property portfolio and operations of the Maesgwyn Estate in Chirk. This role is ideal for someone with a hands-on approach and an interest in property management. Main Duties and Responsibilities The responsibilities will vary throughout the year based on the needs of the estate and will include, but are not limited to: Manage shared mail and email inboxes, drafting written responses on behalf of the team, and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions, including redirecting inquiries when necessary. Handle telephone calls on behalf of the team, responding to inquiries or directing them to the appropriate person. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the estate and its properties, including tasks like EICRs and gas safety checks. Coordinate routine and emergency repairs and maintenance, working closely with contractors. Gather information for the annual property valuation appraisals. Oversee invoicing for all estate revenue streams. Monitor the private water system and assist with meter readings. Support the coordination of the estate's shooting season, implementing necessary procedures and measures. Maintain and update electronic estate records, managing the estate calendar to ensure timely actions related to rent reviews, contract renewals, and other deadlines. Conduct property inspections and attend estate meetings as required. Provide wider administrative support to the UK group head office in Chirk. Requirements: Experience in rural estate management or the property sector is a plus, but not essential. Full UK driving license and confidence in driving on narrow lanes and difficult roads. Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
