We are looking for part-time Support Workers in the Canterbury region for our Whānau Support Services.
What does a Support Worker do?
You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives, achieving their personal dreams and goals by engaging in activities they enjoy, such as swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping.

Who are we looking for?
* People who are passionate about helping others, kind, and understanding.
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience working with youth.
* Full driver's license and owning your own vehicle is essential.
* A desire to support people in learning new skills and achieving outcomes.
* Somebody who has the initiative to encourage individuals to reach their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others' thinking and their ways of living that may differ from your own.
Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
