We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Lead to join our Primary team at HMP Stocken, a category C men's Prison located nr Oakham, Rutland, East Midlands.
In this role you will have the autonomy to shape the role to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
Hours
Monday - Friday (including some weekends and bank holidays).
The working hours are flexible, with the possibility of working compressed hours.
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £55,996 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
• Work closely with partners to maintain a high quality clinical service for patients
• Coach, line manage and develop clinician staff
• Chair and facilitate specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners
• Deliver workshops to develop the team's learning in various areas such as clinical processes, documentation and patient care
• Be responsible for the rota and managing shortages and sign off agency nurses' hours.

Qualifications & Experience required
• Registered Nurse - Adult
• Current professional qualification (NMC)
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development
• Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
• Existing line management experience and student nurse mentorship
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
