Our client is a highly successful family-owned manufacturing business with a North West Head Office and sites across the UK. As a result of continued growth, they are now seeking a Head of HR to lead a small HR team and build and implement a people strategy that supports business objectives.
Working closely with the MD and the rest of the senior leadership teams, the main purpose of the role is to build and implement a people strategy to develop workplace culture, organisational structure, and employee engagement. You will contribute to the overall purpose, direction, and management of the Senior Management Team, driving change throughout the organisation to align with the objectives of the business. In addition, you will provide advice and support to senior managers on all staff matters including recruitment, onboarding, employee development, OD, employee relations, and performance management, as well as the delivery of HR Operations across the UK.
You are a pragmatic, commercial, and credible HR leader ideally with experience of working within the manufacturing, engineering, or construction industry. You have the ability to develop trusted relationships with all stakeholders and a clear connection to and understanding of the business, offering a compelling blend of strategic outlook and ‘hands-on’ operational delivery. Working collaboratively across the UK, you have proven experience of building highly effective relationships, influencing and encouraging cultural and operational alignment.
