Maintenance Operative Location: Kingston Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 2ER Contract: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday–Friday Salary: £23,861 per annum. An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Operative to join our Repairs and Maintenance Team delivering general maintenance services to our portfolio throughout the North East. As a Maintenance Operative you will deal with duties such as litter picking, sweeping, filling grit bins, emptying bins, inspecting playparks, weed spraying, testing fire/smoke alarms, changing light bulbs, minor repairs and other duties. If you have excellent communication skills, a team focussed approach to work and are proficient in using IT systems, we want to hear from you. About the role: Although part of a team you will need to be self-motivated to work alone, driving from site to site to carry out your tasks. A company van will be provided (for business use) so a full clean driving licence is essential. Whilst a knowledge of H&S legislation is required there will be additional mandatory training forming part of this role.
