Technical / Scientific Organisation requires an experienced PR and Communications Manager with experience of taking highly complex data and producing PR and content for both specialist and general audiences. Working with the wider comms and marketing team to develop press releases, web and social stories, presentations, speeches, and content for exhibitions and conferences (internal and external) for mostly trade and sometimes national press/stakeholders. Managing a calendar of content, campaigns, and events targeted at employees, press, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop strong relationships across the business and wider partner network to unearth milestones and success stories and translate them into content that will resonate – often juggling partners with varying priorities.
2. Write content that is tailored for different audiences and channels, either from scratch or repurposed.
3. Work with leaders on leadership events and engagement.
Qualifications:
Must be a strong writer, able to adapt content for various activities and tailor it for audiences from science, pharma, or highly technical industries. B2B agency experience would be great, and candidates must demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills.
Previous media relations and communications experience is required, along with strong stakeholder management skills.
Hybrid working is at least 2 days a week in the office in Cheshire.
