Responsibilities of the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager
1. Managing existing supply chains and setting up new relationships
2. Creating tenders and supplier agreements, negotiating terms and contracts
3. Ensuring all goods are delivered on time in line with requirements
4. Managing import logistics ensuring compliance and reliability
5. Managing a diverse team of people, ensuring achievement of KPIs
6. Working in a global market to procure best value with new and existing suppliers
7. Monitoring stock replenishment and managing best practice
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Strong background in a procurement or supply chain management role
2. Experience of ERP systems
3. Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
4. Negotiation skills within procurement and supply chain
5. Background in engineering / distribution
