About the PE Department: The PE department is a dynamic and supportive team with a shared commitment to providing a high-quality physical education for all our students. About the Role: Teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at GCSE and A Level depending on experience and interest. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. Coach school sports teams and lead extracurricular sports clubs for girls. Organize and participate in sports competitions and events. Promote healthy lifestyles and physical fitness among girls. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Physical Education. Demonstrates a passion for sports and coaching, with a particular interest in inspiring and empowering girls through sport. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum for PE and relevant coaching qualifications. Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
