H&S Assistant Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £45,000 + Car + Benefits
We are partnering with a leading Facilities Management organisation to recruit an Assistant H&S Manager. This exciting role offers the chance to be a key part of the Operations team and Account manager to meet or exceed Client's contractual requirements and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the facilities team with H&S matters raised via Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive supplier works within the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system.
2. Manage the delivery of building risk assessments (general, fire, water, air) via a specialist H&S service provider.
3. Manage Contractor QHSE prequalification of existing and new suppliers, and support onboarding to ensure they are instructed on Client's QHSEW values and standards.
4. Ensure appropriate safe systems of work are in place with the supply chain to manage high-risk activities (incl. Permit-to-Work, RAMS) and support operations team in monitoring the effectiveness of these.
What We're Looking For
1. NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
2. Experience of Facilities Management and contractor H&S management.
3. Experience assessing RAMS and Permits-to-work.
4. Detailed knowledge of UK H&S regulation.
5. ISO 9001/ 14001/ 45001 experience.
