JOB OVERVIEW:
The role sits within the GWR eCommerce team, who’s primary focus is to sell products and merchandise to audiences across every arm of the business, starting with our highly engaged record-breaking community.
The Global Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimising end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple regions.
As part of our growth strategy, this role will lead in managing and expanding our global fulfilment network by partnering with a combination of paper, merchandise and digital fulfilment partners across the globe.
This role ensures efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and seamless coordination between suppliers, fulfilment partners, distributors, and customers.
Key focus areas include demand planning and forecasting, stock management, supplier relationship management, logistics optimisation, and e-commerce operations to support the GWR’s strategic goals.
We are seeking someone with a very proactive attitude and willing be hands-on from the start, using analytics, industry best practices and innovative solutions to enhance supply chain performance, taking the eCommerce business to the next level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supplier Relationship Management
* Build, manage, and negotiate strong relationships with key suppliers and fulfilment partners, ensuring high-quality production, cost efficiency, effective communication and compliance.
* Lead contract negotiations with fulfilment partners for eCommerce, working in close collaboration with the Director of Production and Distribution on paper-printer contracts.
* Be the daily production contact for all print, merchandise and digital partners.
* Agree pricing and contract renewals.
* Source new suppliers in new territories as required and expand contacts
* Work with the global product team and business partners on new product development, including being the main point of contact for sourcing, specs, cost pricing and production.
* Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, customs requirements, environmental impacts and industry best practices.
* Invoice management – work with Finance to ensure accurate monthly invoicing
Demand Forecasting, Stock Management & Logistics
* Develop and implement demand forecasting models to optimise inventory levels and improve order fulfilment accuracy.
* Utilise data-driven insights to improve efficiency, forecast demand, and identify bottlenecks.
* Develop and oversee stock management processes to balance supply and demand, ensuring optimal inventory levels across multiple locations and channels.
* Drive logistics strategies for global fulfilment, third-party logistics (3PL) management, and direct-to-customer (D2C) operations.
* Partner with teams including sales, finance, manufacturing, and marketing to achieve overall business goals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in global supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or e-commerce operations.
* Knowledge of international trade regulations, import/export laws, and compliance requirements.
* Ability to manage operations across multiple regions (US, EU, UK, Japan, China, India & UAE)
* Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory management, logistics coordination, and supplier management.
* Effective communication and negotiation skills.

* Willingness to travel as needed.
Desired
* Experience with ecommerce systems, supply chain management software, and data analytics tools.
* Background in FMCG, retail or ecommerce.
* Experience dealing with print-on-demand and stocked products, non-paper and paper.
* Experience working with large retail customers.
