About the Role
The Business Services Talent Sourcing Specialist is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent team and supports individual business services search efforts as well as workforce planning initiatives at the departmental, functional, and office level through a collection of best-in-class market research, data, pipelining, and direct outreach services. Based on business need and individual background, the Business Services Talent Sourcing Specialists may focus more heavily on one of these three core functional areas: Talent Market Research, Talent Pipelining, and Direct Sourcing. All successful Business Services Talent Sourcing Specialists will be required to flex across the three core functional areas. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
* Generating, or leveraging pre-existing market maps and talent pipelines to create a pool of passive candidate targets for individual searches based on discussions with Business Services Recruiters and/or Hiring Managers.
* Analysing and sharing talent market data with Business Services Recruiters and/or Hiring Managers to influence and augment go-to-market strategy.
* Pitching Latham opportunities to passive candidate targets and in-network (“warm”) targets, and conducting initial discussions with pre-application potential candidates to validate interests and qualifications.
* Leveraging the LinkedIn product suite, iCIMS product suite, pre-existing market maps, and other talent pipelining tools and strategies to create talent pipelines for active searches.
* Predictively pipelining talent for searches that appear at a regular frequency based on an analysis of firm hiring data.
* Generating competitive intelligence reports within and outside of the legal industry to understand Latham’s position relative to active searches, role and team buildouts, titling, levelling, organisational structure, compensation, and other talent trends impacting organisations with whom we compete for talent.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
* Possess the ability to effectively source talent from various European markets.
* Display comprehensive knowledge of Boolean search logic and can effectively source leveraging LinkedIn and our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
* Possess the ability to operate within a global, highly-matrixed environment.
* Demonstrate sound judgement and understanding of when to escalate sensitive matters to management.
* Display the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion.
* Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills and have the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm.
And have:
* A Bachelor's degree, preferably, with a focus in Human Resources or Data Analytics.
* Experience as a sourcer, talent market researcher, or recruiter, in a global professional services environment.
