Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood – Inbound Transport, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Internship - 13 Month Placement (July 2025)
The successful candidate will manage daily tasks within the Supply Chain. This placement provides work experience in the field of Transport management with a global base connection to over 800 suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the interactions between supplier, customer and internal departments within a global supply chain. The role will be based at both our RRMC Plant Goodwood and our Transport and Logistics Centre giving you a first-hand experience of our processes.
What Awaits You?
1. Responsible for updating Transport Service Provider performance reports (monthly inbound).
2. Material delivery queries and tracking.
3. Emergency delivery administration and tracking to ensure on-time parts delivery.
4. Outbound material transport organisation.
5. To report transport related haulier claims including transport damages and missing parts.
6. Process analysis, monitoring, and improvement.
7. Inbound transport (DLSS) system administration.
8. Support network strategy implementation to ensure transport providers are adequately prepared for new and potentially challenging supply chains.
9. Project Management.
Qualifications and Experience
Studying towards a Business orientated degree, and on track to achieving a 2:2 or above.
Microsoft Office literate, particularly Excel. Confident with problem solving techniques.
Ability to respond in pressured situations. Familiar/experience with data analysis, (Big Data/Analytics), ability to create databases highly desirable.
Attention to detail is essential. Team player, to be engaged within a driven team striving towards common goals.
Time management and priority setting.
