Remote first role - one day a week in Bolton office, four days remote. Job Description TAL Agency is a fast-growing specialist search agency based in Bolton. With amazing clients under our belt (and more recently acquired), we are looking for more digital marketers to join our growing team. The right candidate will focus their time leading our technical SEO offering, managing a growing team and delivering best-in-class technical SEO for our clients. The successful candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, keen to learn, and confident in speaking to lots of people daily. What you’ll be doing: Developing a strong understanding of our clients’ products and services, to develop solid SEO strategies to help achieve their goals Managing the delivery of our SEO strategies alongside our Digital PR and Content leads Leading client meetings to deliver technical SEO actions and results Be an accessible line manager for our technical SEO team Producing insightful monthly reports for all clients Briefing technical site improvements to the development team - including schema, page speed, etc. Leading the agency’s technical SEO output, with support from the SEO director Managing your team’s WIP/resource Managing your team’s progression/PDPs Continually pushing for improvements across the team to ensure we’re always developing Helping to plan, manage and execute wider SEO strategies alongside our digital PR and content teams About you 3 years’ experience in an SEO role Strong knowledge of technical SEO and how it impacts organic performance Strong knowledge of on-site and off-site SEO and how they impact organic performance Proven experience in creating SEO strategies, including forecasting and setting SEO KPIs Comfortable communicating with clients of all levels Comfortable managing a small, but growing team of technical SEOs Capable of managing the allocation of resource within a team (managing your own team’s resource/WIP) Not afraid to get stuck in – leading from the front and ensuring all client work is prioritised accordingly Strong knowledge and experience using SEO tools (Majestic, Ahrefs, GSC, GA, ScreamingFrog, Moz, SEMRush, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and expertise working with data to find insights and manage SEO delivery effectively Commercial understanding of the agency model and how SEO can deliver a positive ROI to clients. Knowledge of marketing principles (audiences, tone of voice, content types and their needs etc.) Ability to communicate well with clients both written, over the phone and face-to-face a (when permitted) A solid understanding of how SEO sits within the wider digital marketing piece Passionate about SEO, demonstrated by keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and changes What we offer Salary: £35k-£40k per annum (will pay higher if experience dictates) Your salary will be reviewed every year in line with your objectives.
