Position: Electrical Supervisor (Permanent, Full Time PAYE)
Location: Nationwide
Salary (£): £45,000 – 50,000 (negotiable and dependent on experience)
WHAT TO EXPECT:
As an Electrical Supervisor, you can expect a dynamic and fulfilling role that will enable you to make a significant impact for this Electrical contractor based in Worcestershire. They specialise in providing comprehensive electrical solutions to a diverse range of clients, across domestic, commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing various aspects of projects on site, ensuring their successful execution and client satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Site Supervision: Supervise and manage electrical works at various locations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
* Subcontractor Management: Monitor and coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor on-site teams, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and professionally.
* Hands on Support: Perform hands-on electrical tasks when required to maintain project progress or resolve issues.
* Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on-site, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular checks to ensure all electrical works meet regulatory and company standards.
* Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of site progress, incidents, and project updates, reporting back to management as required.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in a similar role (Electrical Supervisor, Electrical Site Manager, Electrical Foreman, or Lead Electrical Engineer).
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation processes, and relevant regulations.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Valid driving license and willingness to travel nationwide and stay away between sites.
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, AM2, 18th Edition, Gold Card).
* SMSTS or SSSTS certification (preferred but not essential).
* Willingness and ability to work on the tools as and when required.
