Recently carved out from a larger Group and with strong investment support from PX3, a forward-looking private equity investor, this mid-cap manufacturing business is ready to accelerate growth. With a turnover of $100M, strong EBITDA margin of 20-25%, and good cash conversion, the business has a solid platform from which to grow.
Job Description
* Manage a team of 2 across Group Reporting and FP&A and collaborate/mentor regional controllers who have a direct report line to the CFO.
* Responsible for financial reporting including:
o Management accounts and commentary
o Statutory accounts production and filing
o Bank covenant reports
o Ad hoc/strategic analysis
o 5 year plan
* Manage Group tax requirements and relationship/work required from BDO tax advisory.
* Manage Audit delivery and relationship with BDO audit partner and team.
* Support Company Secretarial management with support from outsource partners in the UK, USA, Ireland, and India.
* Oversee Governance implementation through control and oversight of Delegation Of Authority matrix.
* Support special projects including:
o M&A
o Transfer pricing study
o Back office review
* Perform regular reviews of local controller financial statements.
* Manage working capital balances for the Group and delivery of cash targets and debt servicing.
The Successful Applicant
* Chartered Accountant 5-10yr PQE.
* Manufacturing background an advantage.
* Strong technical skills including consolidation, purchase accounting, revenue accounting, FX.
* Good project leadership skills.
* Experience in running multi-site groups and matrix management structures.
* Experience of M&A.
* Good presentation skills.
