Position Summary We're looking for a shift based Industrial Services Compliance Engineer to work as part of the industrial services team based at our Halifax Factory in West Yorkshire. A day in the life of an Industrial Services Compliance Engineer As an Industrial Services Compliance Engineer, you will support the site by ensuring the continued reliability of the site utilities and Industrial Services plant by completing various compliance checks as part of your daily duties. This will include boiler checks, effluent plant, ammonia refrigeration plant, air compressors, HVAC. Knowledge of general maintenance is an advantage as you will be required to support the business with tasks within your skill set such as general building repairs, mechanical/electrical planned and reactive maintenance, production support and general Industrial Services support. You will be working to deliver improvements in the performance of machinery and assets, technically supporting the Industrial Services Engineer/Manager and developing the technical skills within the engineering and operational teams. The factory is moving forward with continuous improvement principles and actively developing TPM processes so it's an exciting time to be involved, and it is expected that you will play a key part in the move from reactive to proactive maintenance. What will make you successful You will have a good solid engineering background, ideally working in an Industrial Services field. A positive can-do attitude is important as well as the ability to think on your feet to be able to deal effectively with any issues on site. You will also: - Be educated to level 3 or equivalent experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering - BOAS Qualification ideal but full training available for the right person. - Experience of Industrial Services Plant and Equipment - Possess a logical fault-finding approach to be able to deal with issues on shift. - Be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders - Demonstrate a sense of urgency whilst never compromising safety or product quality What you need to know What can we offer in return?
