About the Role We are seeking an HR Support Specialist to join our team for a 9-month fixed-term contract, playing a vital role during a period of business restructuring and consultation. While previous experience in restructuring or consultations is not essential, you must be efficient, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong administrative and HR coordination skills. This role will provide key administrative and operational support to ensure the consultation process runs smoothly, assist employees with queries, and oversee redundancy calculations, recruitment for pivotal roles, and general HR tasks. Working closely with senior HR leaders, you’ll be the go-to person for HR coordination and administration, ensuring compliance and clarity throughout the transition period. Key Responsibilities Support the consultation process, ensuring accurate documentation, scheduling meetings, and handling employee queries. Manage redundancy calculations and paperwork, ensuring compliance and clarity for affected employees. Act as a key HR contact on-site, providing guidance and answering queries from employees regarding restructuring. Assist with immediate recruitment needs, identifying and hiring for business-critical roles. Coordinate HR administration tasks, including maintaining records, updating policies, and preparing reports. Liaise with managers and HR leadership, ensuring a smooth and well-communicated transition. Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity when handling employee information and restructuring details. What We’re Looking For HR Advisor (CIPD Level 5) or Executive Assistant-level experience with strong administrative capabilities. Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities efficiently. A confident communicator, comfortable providing support and answering employee queries. HR administration experience, including document management and compliance. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Experience managing redundancy calculations or working within restructuring projects is desirable but not essential.
