Job summary We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative pharmacist to work within our existing team of pharmacists and technicians. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate a high standard of patient focused pharmaceutical care, and will rotate around different specialities in the Trust. Working within the Aseptic Unit the post holder will be performing the professional release of products, including CIVAS, PN chemotherapy and immunotherapy, as well as assisting in the management of the Quality Assurance system. You will have excellent communication, IT and team working skills and self-motivation to contribute to the development and delivery of the pharmacy service within the Trust. This role will involve development of rotational band 6 early careers pharmacists, trainee pharmacists and pharmacy undergraduate students. Main duties of the job Assists in delivering, developing and evaluating the Aseptic Service, ensuring compliance with national standards and statutes and trust policies. Acts an an Authorised Pharmacist for the release of products prepared in the aseptic unit. Provides specialist pharmaceutical care to clinical specialties on a rotational basis ensuring effective medicines management and compliance with current standards, statute and trust policies The post holder will be expected to take part in weekend, bank holiday and emergency duty rota.
