We have an excellent opportunity available for a Preparation Technician to join our service team at North Oxford Garage.
About the role
As a Technician at North Oxford garage, you will join our team of talented vehicle technicians and be responsible for the maintenance and repair work of motor vehicles for our customers - your main duties include:
* To carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on all new BMW and MINI vehicles
* To carry out Approved Used Checks (AUC) on all used BMW and MINI vehicles
* To complete all relevant paperwork and job cards to manufacturer specification
* To carry out rectification work on used cars including but not limited to; servicing, repairs, diagnosis and quality enhancement
* To retrofit accessory kits to any required BMW or MINI vehicles
* To carry out all work to the highest standard and in line with manufacturer's specifications
* To maintain an excellent level of housekeeping in line with the Company's values
* To liaise with Preparation Controller to establish requirements for each individual job
* To liaise with Preparation Controller to seek authority for additional work
About you
* Level 2 (or above) NVQ in Motor vehicle maintenance and repair or Light vehicle (LV) maintenance and repair or equivalent
* A high level of productivity and efficiency
* Good time management, communication and listening skills
* A polite and helpful manner and a willingness to deal with internal and external customer needs effectively and efficiently.
* Excellent house keeping
