An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join our friendly, forward thinking and supportive podiatry service that provides care across the Bury, Oldham and Rochdale area.
We are looking for a motivated and suitably qualified individual to support service delivery. The post holder will provide comprehensive, efficient and effective clinical administration support for NCA Podiatry services.
The successful individual will need to be a hardworking, team player with excellent communication skills and ability to organise and prioritise workload. The ideal candidate would have office administration experience, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and databases.
The applicant will be required to be flexible towards the needs of the Podiatry services in Bury. It is essential for the post holder to possess an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at all levels both within and out with the services.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive clinical administration service to support all functions of the teams. To deliver an effective and timely service for patients within the Bury, Oldham and Rochdale area.
The post holder will be required to undertake a range of tasks working in the Podiatry clinical administration function. Tasks include telephone calls, accurate data input on a number of databases, electronic transfer of information via different methods of transfer, message processing, use of electronic ordering systems, booking appointments, dictating letters and involvement in service improvement projects on an ad-hoc basis - whilst always delivering a confidential, friendly and patient focused service.
The post holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical administration support including gathering and accurately collecting data from a variety of sources relating to service performance and delivery, ordering equipment, booking appointments and dictation of clinical information whilst always maintaining a confidential, friendly and patient focused service.

Qualifications
Essential
* Educated to GCSE/O Level or equivalent in English/Maths
* NVQ Level 2 Admin vocational qualification
Desirable
* ECDL or equivalent
* Word processing/typing certificate to RSA level II/III

* Strong IT competency with specific knowledge of databases and Microsoft office suite
