In March 2024, Rochdale Town Hall opened its doors to the public, after being closed for 4 years due to major restoration works. Since then, over 78,000 people from all over the world have visited this beautiful Victorian, gothic building. Housing nationally significant historical rooms, a new restaurant, new learning and community spaces and a fully pedestrianised Town Hall Square, Rochdale Town Hall has been truly transformed. Rochdale Town Hall hosts a variety of events including weddings, dinners, school proms, civic ceremonies and charity balls. The Casual Events & Front of House Co-ordinator will perform an essential role, acting as the responsible person on events and providing exceptional customer service, safe management and delivery of events including the bar and meal service. We are looking to appoint a person with drive, attention to detail and passion to make Rochdale Town Hall one of the best events venues in the North West. Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, calm under pressure, good with people (clients and staff) and exceptionally organised. This role will report to the Senior Events Manager, and be responsible for the management of Casual Events staff on certain occasions.
