ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noticing any changes that impact care and updating care plans accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with their medication needs.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
* Being a key contact for residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated as needed.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
* Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Be positive and nurturing towards residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to various responsibilities.
