Based at our main site on Castleham Industrial Estate in Hastings, this role reports to the Customer Services Manager working in a close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with previous experience as a Customer Services Advisor or a similar role who can work well within a team and on their own initiative. This role is permanent, working 37.5 hours per week.
What are the main duties of this role?
* Build and maintain trusting and valued relationships with our customers, colleagues, and all operational areas.
* Increase sales opportunities for the Company.
* Arrange/co-ordinate, through liaison with the internal distribution network, agreed delivery schedules to provide for the timely supply of requested goods or services to meet demand.
* Provide a positive call answer enquiry service.
* Input orders, providing an accurate order progressing service.
* Set up and maintain electronic and manual customer records.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in a similar role providing excellent customer service.
* Experience in communicating and responding to customer queries via telephone and email.
* Positive attitude and motivation with good attention to detail.
* A confident and pleasant telephone manner.
* Previous experience working in a team environment.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
