The role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Market Access team as Associate Director. You will be playing a key role in the co-development and execution of the access strategy for Pharmanovia products and optimising sales of our product portfolio.
Reporting to the VP Global Market Access, you will leverage your deep knowledge and understanding of pricing and reimbursement systems, driving impactful outcomes and innovative solutions.
This is a senior strategic role in which you will support the design, development and implementation activities that enable Pharmanovia to secure optimal reimbursement and realise the maximum commercial potential of current and future Pharmanovia products.
Your expertise and actions will enhance the effectiveness of the sales and marketing teams and further develop the reputation of Pharmanovia as an agile and imaginative specialty pharma business that brings high value products to stakeholders and a preferred partner for innovator pharma companies.
Main responsibilities and duties:
* Along with VP Global Market Access, execute on the Market Access Strategy
* Support pricing and reimbursement for all key Pharmanovia products, ensuring timely price and reimbursement submissions/approvals
* Ensure health economic analysis and health outcome analysis are prepared and prepare reimbursement submission-dossiers, data gap analysis and identify the solution for minimising the gap, building product value proposition for payers, or where relevant support in collaboration with partners
* Support price management and maintenance of the price database
* Work cross functionally with global medical and commercial functions to support the development of value propositions and messages tailored to multiple stakeholders including payers, clinicians, pharmacists, and policy makers
* Project support (including day to day management) for national HTA submissions, and pricing strategies working closely with regional stakeholder managers to ensure optimal patient access to new and existing Pharmanovia products
* Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance and Business Development
* Develop and maintain strong expertise and external relationships in the shifting procurement landscape with a good understanding of competition and procurement regulations bringing insight to strategic and tactical pricing approaches for Pharmanovia's marketed products
* Maintain strong compliance with all relevant internal policies, compliance, and legal requirements
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business or related disciplines
* Solid commercial background with at least 5 years of experience in Market Access at national and international level within pharmaceuticals/healthcare
* In-depth understanding of payers and their value drivers in above country level/major EU markets as well as trends in pricing and reimbursement
* Experience with clinical data gap analysis and development of GVD, as well as health economics insight and experience
* Above country knowledge regarding pricing and reimbursement environment, and experience with reimbursement dossier submission and stakeholder management
* Ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders
